The Liberal Democratic Order (OLD) was established by 353 citizens, official signatories of the formal registration request submitted to the Supreme Court/Constitutional Court, under the leadership of Dr. Albertino Francisco, an eminent São Toméan political scientist, economist, and diplomat, driven by a commitment to restore ethics, competence, and accountability as fundamental pillars of public service.
The OLD was created to rescue São Tomé and Príncipe from endemic corruption, institutional stagnation, and external dependence, proposing a new state architecture centered on meritocracy and national sovereignty.
